Hometown: All over the South and in Madison, WI for the last 25 years. I consider Madison my adopted hometown
Why did you choose MD+I?
I chose the MDI program because it allowed me to continue my academic journey post MadUX Capstone. The combination of the two are essential to my career goals.
What is your favorite part of MD+I so far?
The thing I’ve enjoyed the most about the MDI program is the close connection with my cohort. I’ve also really loved time spent in the Makerspace participating in the creation of prototypes using machinery, methods and means I never imagined I’d ever have an opportunity to use.
What kinds of professional and personal trajectories are you setting for yourself at the moment? Where do you hope to go after graduation?
I currently work as a UX Researcher in Health Care Tech. MDI’s curriculum has already had a direct impact on my work. I want to continue to marry the learnings in MDI with my work in healthcare research to hone my craft and share with my colleagues.
