Why did you choose MD+I?
What stood out to me about the MDI program was how out-of-the-box it was. The program description embodied multi-dimensional thinking; where I could become a businesswoman, an artist, a designer, a strategist or all four. Scrolling through the course catalog, I could see how the classes would motivate me to apply multiple disciplines and use broader perspectives to solve challenging problems. Before starting my application, I remember thinking, “how could I not apply to a program that funnels all my passions into one place, and where I would have the freedom to grow into the professional I always wanted to be?”
What is your favorite part of MD+I so far?
My favorite part of MDI is how we are encouraged to push limits, experiment with boundaries, and use our creative freedom in ways we see best fit. The environment in each class welcomes collaboration with your classmates and professors. This has helped me strengthen my values and find my voice as an individual.
What kinds of professional and personal trajectories are you setting for yourself at the moment? Where do you hope to go after graduation?
After graduation, I would like to use my knowledge of design strategy, marketing and psychology to help companies manage, implement or develop business models, products, services and experiences that are both life and human-centered.
