Why did you choose MD+I?

I chose MDI because I wanted to take my career and education in a more creative direction.  I wanted to combine my previous technical background and my love for creation and design. I also loved the idea of being apart of an interdisciplinary program. That I could be apart of a community that valued other disciplines to make something amazing.

What is your favorite part of MD+I so far?

My favorite part of the program so far as been learning the many meanings behind the word design. Each class I have taken so far has given me a new appreciation for things people create and the design process. No matter what the class was about or what we were designing, there was always this new meaning and passion behind it.

What kinds of professional and personal trajectories are you setting for yourself at the moment? Where do you hope to go after graduation?

I would love to one day work with other creatives to make a product that is not only functional but fun. I want to keep an element of joy in my life and in my work.
